There are 3 main parts to your Organization settings that help to customize your Customer dashboard and interactions with your customers.

Dashboard Logo

This is the logo that will display in the top-left hand corner of the customer dashboard, similar to how the Carrier Link logo appears in the top-left of your organization dashboard.

Required Specifications

  1. The image must be 600px wide by 200px tall. Your logo will never be stretched and will always display in the same aspect-ratio to preserve all artifacts of your logo
  2. The image must be in PNG file type. Usually this means the file looks like company-logo.png
  3. Left-align your logo so that it looks ‘correct’ everywhere that we’ll use it. We’ll always left-align your logo in navigation, emails, or anywhere else we use it.

Suggestions

  1. Contrast: Do not include any background color in your logo image. We may show your logo over many different background colors — usually over a white or off-white background. You can use a site like contrastchecker.com → and upload your PNG, being sure to keep your “background” color set to #FFFFFF. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and look out for these 6 circles. Ideally, they should all show a check.

Dashboard Primary Color

Your primary color must be a 6-character “hex” value. There are two primary ways to figure out what this should be.

Dashboard Hosted Domain

The hosted domain is a critical part of your organization, and is more difficult than the other customization items to change due to technical limitations. Your hosted domain is the link that your customers will use to access the customer dashboard — we require this to be set up so that your customers deal with you directly.

Deciding on your Hosted Domain

You must own the domain name that you plan to use with Carrier Link, and there must not already be a website hosted at the URL when you visit it in your web browser. If you own the domain but already have a website available there, consider using a subdomain of your domain; just like your Carrier Link dashboard is available at app.carrierlink.io, where app. is the subdomain.

Save your Hosted Domain

Add the domain name that you own, whether a root domain or a subdomain, into the “Dashboard Hosted Domain” input field and press “Save Branding.”
